In this class you will be working in groups on your final projects which will address a problem or issue in your current role or at your work site. The project should incorporate all aspects of this class and use informatics to improve the quality and safety of patient care. Please see your syllabus for more details.

-Process improvement for procedures by creating an electronic consent form instead of paper form.
-Designing a mobile app that helps patients remember when to take their medications upon discharge from the hospital.
-Implementing an AI-driven triage system for outpatient calls and electronic messaging.
-Creating an automatic alerting system for a sepsis pathway based on information entered into a patient's chart to reduce patient mortality.
